This Reverse Osmosis Water Recycling Kit takes excess condensate from the Reach-In Chamber drain outlet, purifies it, then adds it back to the humidifier using a special filter and pump.

A common draw back with ultra-sonic or equivalent humidification systems in plant growth chambers is the need for a continuous supply of RO water. Depending on the rate of humidity, you may also need to expel excess water from the irrigation or humidification process via the chamber drain to a floor waste.

Both the supply of RO water and drainage can be costly additions to any laboratory and in some instances, needs to be monitored and controlled; particularly when the space carries a physical containment rating of 2 or above. Access to water and drainage can also limit the number of plant growth chambers you can operate and where they can be used.
The Biora Reverse Osmosis Water Recycling Kit takes excess water from the Reach-In Chamber drain outlet, purifies it, then adds it back to the humidifier using a special filter and pump. The closed loop system is a cost effective and environmentally friendly alternative in dealing with excess water from humidification and removes the risk of expelling potentially contaminated water down the drain.
